Who we are... "THE Youth GroUP" is our ministry to junior and senior high school students here at Grace Bible Church. We are comprised of students from our church along with others from the neighboring areas.

When we meet... "THE Youth GroUP" meets together (junior and senior high) for a Discipleship oriented Sunday School class during the first worship service, starting at 9:00 and ending at 10:30. On Thursday nights, the senior highers meet at the church from 7:00 to 9:15 in the Fellowship Hall and the junior highers meet (also on Thursday nights) from 7:00 to 9:00 in room 202.

What we do... "THE Youth GroUP" participates in activities such as summer camp, winter camp and student conferences. We also occasionally attend sporting events, go to concerts with Christian artists and visit various parents homes during our progressive dinners. Pool parties, video car rallies, Broomball on Ice and other recreational activities also find their way onto our calendar from time to time. At our weekly meetings, our focus is the study of the Word of God and worship through fellowship, song and prayer.

Why we meet... "THE Youth GroUP" has a desire to glorify God. We seek to accomplish this through the faithful teaching of His word and praying that the Holy Spirit will continually work in the hearts and minds of our students, helping them to be conformed to the image of Christ. The theme verse for our ministry is Ephesians 4:15..."Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ." It is our desire that God will "GRO-UP" our students to reflect His glory to the world around.

What else?... "THE Youth GroUP" is also involved in several missions and ministries. Our students have been regular participants in missions work in San Quintin, Mexico and have worked with the church we support in Tijuana as well. Each Summer, a number of our students are involved in camp counseling at Koinonia for their Kid's and Jr High camp programs. Also we may serve at the Bay Area Rescue Mission in Richmond or Love A Child Ministries in Pittsburg as the Lord allows us opportunities. In addition, we  sponsor a child through Compassion International, sponsor a Pastor and his family in Nigeria (a country where Christians are persecuted) through Voice of the Martyrs, sponsor Fernando ( a pastor in Tijuana) and we look forward to being able to do more as God allows.
